I’m Marcus Turle, a commercial lawyer with 15 years’ experience working in highly regulated sectors such as energy, aerospace and pharmaceuticals, and with a particular interest in technology, sourcing and the legal regulation of information.

I’m the editor and principal author of Outsourcing Law & Practice, published by the Law Society in 2010, and general editor of Data Protection Laws of the World, an international guide to data privacy law in over 60 countries, which is updated twice a year.

My life outside law usually involves family, food, wine and sport (frequently all at the same time) and I sometimes blog on these subjects as well.

I live in Barnes, south west London, with my wife Louise.
